Amalee Meehan is Assistant Professor of Religious Education at the Institute of Education, Dublin City University (DCU), and Associate Researcher at the National Anti-Bullying Research and Resource Centre (ABC) and Associate Researcher at the Mater Dei Centre for Catholic Education (MDCCE), both at DCU. Her previous COST experience includes membership of the Management Committee of Cost Action 18115 Transnational Collaboration on Bullying, Migration and Integration at School Level (TRIBES). Amalee’s publication profile ranges from theology and spirituality to inclusive education, religious education and wellbeing.  She has co-authored a number of national reports, religious education textbooks for Catholic high schools in the United States, and articles in peer reviewed journals such International Journal of Education Research Open, Irish Educational Studies, Religious Education, and International Studies in Catholic Education.  Her current research interests are in the intersection of education, religion and wellbeing and the implications for curriculum, school culture and practice, inclusive religious education, school ethos and integration. Amalee holds a PhD in Theology and Education from Boston College, USA.
