Glorianne Borg Axisa is a senior lecturer at the University of Malta Junior College and lectures at the Faculty of Education of the University of Malta. She is Area Coordinator for Social Sciences at the University of Malta Junior College and is responsible for Wellbeing, Equity and Inclusion of students in the same institution. Her area of research is intersectionality between geography education and intercultural education, curriculum planning and global education. She holds a PhD from the Institute of Education, University College London, UK. She has been a member of the Council for the Teaching Profession and the National Curriculum Framework Board in Malta. She was a Management Committee member of COST Action TRIBES on school bullying and migration, and she holds a leader position of working group 2 at ORBIT COST Action.
